​Together a Healthier Future is a programme looking at how we can establish ways to improve health and care services in hospital, and out of hospital (i.e. community based services) and what we can do improve people’s health in Pennine Lancashire (Blackburn with Darwen and East Lancashire).

After installing the first surgical robot in Lancashire, East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust leads the way once more by being the first in the region to use the equipment to carry out colorectal surgery.
