Date posted: 9th July 2018Healthwatch Blackburn with Darwen (BwD) will be holding a public meeting to inform people about the work it is doing and to listen to the views and opinions of local people about health and social care in the borough.
Abdul Mulla (Chief Officer) said “We are pleased to announce the date of our next public meeting, we are keen to share our work with the public and value their feedback and any concerns that they may have around health and social care, we are extremely pleased to have Harry Catherall (Chief Executive, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council) and Dominic Harrison (Director of Public Health, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council) who will be speaking at the meeting”.
Sir Bill Taylor (Chair, Healthwatch BwD) said “Public meetings are a very important part of the work Healthwatch BwD delivers as it gives people a chance to air their concerns about the forever changing services to our health and social care. We endeavour to answers people’s queries or ensure that we signpost them in the right direction if we are unable to give them the information that they need.”
