The Together a Healthier Future Programme, working in conjunction with Health Education England are in the process of recruiting 5 Practitioners across Neighbourhood Teams in Pennine Lancashire to become accredited Mental Health Trainers.

The Connect 5 Train the Trainer Programme is the first nationally accredited scheme that will create a network of trained practitioners in mental well-being advice, who will also be able to offer extended brief intervention for residents who need lower level support.

Once trained, the Practitioners will be fully equipped Mental Health Trainers. They will be able to cascade training and support across Pennine Lancashire Neighbourhood Teams ensuring that as a Workforce we build capacity and capability to support prevention and reduce demand.
